Brennan Villines: Cover Art: Marcella, Brennan & David cover "Someday" & "Self-Control"

From the series "Cover Art" by Brennan Villines. On Monday, March 27th, Brennan Villines got David Cousar (legendary guitarist; and we've been lucky enough to have him in Marcella & Her Lovers band since 2013) and Marcella together and they recorded 2 songs and filmed 2 music videos in one night. Brennan & Marcella tossed ideas around for a few weeks of what songs we should learn and cover for his Cover Art series. They decided on The Strokes "Someday" & Frank Ocean "Self-Control." Marcella has had Blonde on repeat for several months and it's served as a serious inspiration to her. She looks forward to next opportunity to work and write with Brennan. They began doing so in the brainstorming sessions for this edition of Cover Art.  Brennan will be a guest vocalist on the upcoming Marcella & Her Lovers full-length release out this fall.
